PBL - Term 1
This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) has been about kindness and the big question was: How can we build community through our actions?
First, we explored some collaborative activities and discussed how we could include kindness and build a sense of community through our actions at camp. Next, we were organised into groups where we had to unpack the above question. In our groups we considered how we could spread community and kindness through our entire school community. We decided that we would offer something that was free and would make others happy.
We created an action plan and …first we thought we could do something like multi sport then I said that is too basic then we thought how bout something unique then Benjamin thought how bout a treasure hunt I was like YES T HAT IS A GREAT IDEA then I was like how many people Lily said like sixteen and teams of two. Then me and Benjamin went down to Kakano and told them then we said we will do it on Tuesday then we came back. The next day we let the the teachers pick sixteen people who have been good then we took them out and got a piece of paper then, we looked for kindness cards a and then we rout down what the cards said I had with me Harry Noah and Micah then after that they got a bag of lollies.
Reflection:
For our final product our group….did a treasure hunt for Kakano
How did our action build a sense of community in the school?we made the year one and twos happy and thy were having fun
I contributed by...Thinking of ideas and making everything fair
I think the PBL might impact on others by...Making them happy and making their day Better.
What I learned about working with others was…its not about working together with yourself its about teamwork.
