Maths Week 3.
Now we will do subtraction. Say our question is 864-49. 49 is close to 50 so add 1 to the 49 and make it 50 its now 864-50 except we added 1 to the fifty so know we add 1 to the 864 and make it 865. Now our question is 865-50=815
What was your Math last week??

Hi Zach
ReplyDeleteYou have demonstrated you have a sound understanding of tidy numbers by backing it up with examples. This always makes it clearer for the reader to visually understand the explanations. Did you find tidy numbers easy to understand? I think it makes the maths equations a lot quicker to do when we can see the answer more clearly with a tidy number!
